How the Day Runs
There is no guide and no schedule. You arrive at the park gate at Via Derna 4 in Castelnuovo del Garda, show your dated ticket and stay until closing.
Arriving and the Day Itself
Most visitors reach the park on the free shuttle from Peschiera del Garda train station, which departs every 30 minutes with the first run at 9:30 AM and the last departure from Gardaland at 6:30 PM. Opening times vary from day to day, so check the calendar on www.gardaland.it before you set out. Inside, you plan your own route: big coasters first if queues matter, Peppa Pig Land early with small children, water rides in the afternoon heat.
One reviewer reports a longest weekend wait of 40 minutes and another found short waits on a Thursday.
Rides Reviewers Single Out

The Black Hole is a dive coaster, Jungle Rapids a river ride, and Jumanji - The Adventure puts you in a 4x4 off-road vehicle. Peppa Pig Land is the area for younger children.

Book It If, Skip It If
Book it if
- your date is fixed, since the $50 ticket gives full access to all 40 rides and themed areas for one day
- you travel without a car, because a free shuttle runs from Peschiera del Garda station every 30 minutes
- your children are under 90 cm, since they enter free without a ticket
Skip it if
- your plans could change, since the ticket is non-refundable, valid only on the booked date and not refunded for rain or a power outage
- you would rather spend the day on the lake than in queues, when the Sirmione boat tour around the peninsula is the alternative
- you want flexible weather-dependent dates, when the park's undated 1-day ticket or a 2-day park plus SEA LIFE option suits better
Pros and Cons
An honest read of this fixed-date entry ticket, at $50 per person with 3,102 reviews averaging 4.6.
What we genuinely like
- Full access to all 40 rides and themed areas for one price, taxes and fees included
- Children under 90 cm and dependant disabled visitors enter free
- Free shuttle from Peschiera del Garda station every 30 minutes, so no car needed
- Wheelchair accessible, with rides from toddler level to full coaster thrills
- Reviewers report short weekday queues
The honest downsides
- Strictly non-refundable, with no refund for rain or a power outage
- Valid only on the booked date, so one wet or sick day loses the money
- Opening times change daily, so the day's hours are only certain from the park's own calendar
- Food, drinks and souvenirs are all extra
- The shuttle stops at 6:30 PM, which limits late-evening event visits without another plan
Who it's NOT for: If you would rather spend the day on the lake than in queues, book the Sirmione boat tour around the peninsula instead.
Before You Go
A theme park day needs a date you are sure of, sensible shoes and a plan for food money, because the ticket covers rides only.
Dates, Weather and Money
The ticket is fixed date and non-refundable, and it is not refunded for rain or a power outage, so check the forecast before booking and pack sun protection and a rain layer. Opening times vary from day to day, so confirm the day's hours on www.gardaland.it. The euro is the local currency.

Getting There and Practicalities
By train, aim for Peschiera del Garda station and take the free shuttle, every 30 minutes, first 9:30 AM, last return 6:30 PM. Drivers reach the park from the A4 or the A22, and ATV bus line 164 stops at the park on its Garda, Bardolino, Lazise, Gardaland, Peschiera, Castelnuovo and Verona route. Bring your booking confirmation and water bottles.
There is no stated minimum age, children under 90 cm enter free, and the park is wheelchair accessible. Visitors with a dependant disability enter free without a ticket.

Dated, Open-Date and Multi-Day Tickets
Gardaland sells several ticket types, and the difference matters most if your plans could change. This page sells the dated version.
The Fixed-date Ticket on This Page
The $50 ticket here is a dated 1-day ticket. You enter only on the booked travel date, and it is not refunded for rain or a power outage. Book it when your plans are set.
Prices shown in euros on the lake, such as ferry and sight tickets, use the European Central Bank rate of 1 EUR = 1.1130 USD.
Open-date and Combined Options
The park's official range also includes an undated 1-day ticket valid across the season, useful if your weather window is uncertain. A 2-day park ticket adds 1 entry to SEA LIFE Aquarium, usable within 6 days, and an evening ticket covers Scary Fridays events. Note that a standard park ticket includes neither the LEGOLAND Water Park nor the SEA LIFE Aquarium, so budget for those separately.
| Ticket | What it gives | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Dated 1-day (this page) | Entry on one booked date, all rides | Fixed plans, $50 per person |
| Undated 1-day | One day, valid across the season | Flexible weather-dependent plans |
| 2-day park + SEA LIFE | 2 park days plus 1 SEA LIFE entry within 6 days | Families staying several nights |
| Scary Fridays evening | Evening entry for Scary Fridays events | Evening visitors |
Do You Need to Buy in Advance?
Advance booking fixes your date and your price, and on a dated ticket it is the only way in. The trade-off is the refund policy: no cancellation, no date change, so only book once you are sure of the day.

Castelnuovo Del Garda and Peschiera Around the Park
The park sits between Castelnuovo del Garda and Peschiera del Garda at the lake's southeastern corner, so a park day pairs well with a quieter lake morning or a ferry trip the day after.
Peschiera Del Garda
Peschiera is the practical base: it has the train station, the shuttle link and a ferry stop. Navigazione Laghi, the state ferry company, lists Peschiera to Sirmione as fare zone 2 at $6.68 (€6.00) one way full fare. In the summer 2026 timetable a run leaves Peschiera at 8:00 for Lazise 8:28, Bardolino 8:45 and Garda 9:00, and the long ordinary boat to Riva departs Peschiera at 9:10.
From 2 November to 12 March the only service on the lake is the Torri-Maderno car ferry.
Add a Sirmione Morning
If the park leaves you wanting lake time, Sirmione is the easy add-on. The Scaligero Castle costs $11.13 (€10) full and opens Tuesday to Sunday 8:30-19:15, closed Mondays, with the ticket office closing 45 minutes early. The Grottoes of Catullus cost $11.13 (€10) full, Tuesday to Saturday 8:30-17:00 and Sunday 8:30-14:00, cards only on site.
A combined ticket covering the castle, the grottoes and the Roman villa in Desenzano costs $22.26 (€20) and is valid 7 days. Check hours before going, since the Ministry page does not label them by season. For the water itself, the Sirmione boat tour around the peninsula runs 25 minutes for $13 per person, or the Sirmione sunset boat tour adds 45 minutes and a flute of Prosecco for $34.21.
Fast Track: What Gardaland Express Adds
On the busiest days the queue, not the price, is the real cost. Gardaland Express is the park's paid shortcut, sold on top of the entry ticket.
The Three Tiers
Express Time Savers come as Give me 5, one ride on 5 chosen rides, Epic 17, one ride on each of 17 rides, and No Limits, unlimited rides on those same 17. Prices for the Express tiers are set by the park and are not listed here. You buy Express in addition to your entry ticket.
| Tier | Rides covered | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Give me 5 | 5 chosen rides | 1 ride on each |
| Epic 17 | 17 rides | 1 ride on each |
| No Limits | The same 17 rides | Unlimited |
When It Pays Off
The Express voucher is personal, non-refundable and valid only on the visit day, and availability per day is limited, so book it for the dates you expect queues. One reviewer on this entry ticket reports a longest weekend wait of 40 minutes, and another found short waits on a Thursday.

Getting to Gardaland: Shuttle, Car and Bus
The park is 2 km from Peschiera del Garda station, close to the A4 and A22 motorways and on a direct bus line from Verona.
Train Plus Free Shuttle
Take the train to Peschiera del Garda, the closest station at 2 km from the park. A free shuttle runs every 30 minutes, starting 30 minutes before opening and finishing 30 minutes after closing, with the first departure at 9:30 AM and the last return from Gardaland at 6:30 PM. The shuttle is free, so the train and shuttle combination is the simplest car-free route.
If you are coming from Verona or Milan on a guided day instead, the Lake Garda tour from Verona with cruise and the Lake Garda day trip from Milan cover the lake's highlights without theme park time.
By Car and by Bus
Drivers leave the A4 at Peschiera del Garda or Sommacampagna, or the A22 at Affi. Verona-Villafranca airport is about 15 km from the lake, with an Aerobus every 20 minutes to Verona Porta Nuova station for onward trains to Peschiera. By bus, ATV line 164 runs Garda, Bardolino, Lazise, Gardaland, Peschiera and Castelnuovo through to Verona, which works well from the eastern shore towns.

What Travelers Said
The tickets were cheaper than on the official site. We had so much fun at the Gardaland, and I would recommend to any group of friends, couples, families
longest wait all day on a weekend was 40mins not too bad at all, lots of food and drink options and not quite as overpriced as other theme parks we'd been too. good variety of different types of rides would recommend.
fun day lots of rides and the waits on a Thursday weren't too long
A great day out with rides suitable for all the family. Really beautifully designed grounds. It was a full day activity. There was a good amount of shade to escape the sun.
